Borja Valero, former midfielder of Inter, shared an anecdote during the “Abici del derby” show on DAZN about the Milan derby. “We went back to the dressing room with Brozovic and Lukaku arguing. They were saying everything to each other. We were losing 0-2 in the derby. In the Inter dressing room, there is a small room for the coach next to the players’ lounge. Conte heard the shouts and noises of the argument and opened the door. He asked, ‘What’s going on? Are you fighting?’ There was a moment of silence. He shouted, ‘Good, fight! That’s what you should do, it’s good! Fight!’ He continued to encourage us by yelling. We came out pumped up in the second half and turned the derby around, from 0-2 to 4-2.”
